Deep black and white in a fine quality hand-dyed and hand-woven cotton ikat from India, with a charming softly blurred black stretched oval design. Ikat is a technique in which the threads are resist-dyed prior to weaving. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where hand made textile traditions continue. Lightweight, opaque with an appealing cool hand 5" repeat and airy drape. Just right for a tunic, shirt, light jacket, vest, dress, skirt or soft pants.

Pre-treat by wash/dry gentle. After sewing wash gentle and air dry.
